1. What makes TVclean different to other screen cleaners?

TVclean removes and traps the dust rather than basically moving it around. Also, as the rubber cleaning surface is a roller, there is no wiping action which can cause permanent scratches.

Unlike other leading screen cleaning brands, Tvclean will never leave streaks on your screen as it uses no sprays or solvents.

2. Why shouldn’t I use a standard duster and/or glass cleaner to clean my screen?

Dusters simply move the dust around pushing it into the corners; dragging particles of dust across the surface causing lots of small scratches. Moreover, as your screen acts as a static generator (a magnet for airborne dust), there is a good chance the duster will leave more dust on your screen than when you started. Alcohol sprays on the other hand have been proven to degrade the plastic coatings on your flat screen devices over time.

The TVclean system can be used on any type of lcd, plasma, tv, computer, laptop, iphone or pda screen. The rubber cleaning roller is designed to be used on any type of surface leaving no residue behind. As TVclean is alcohol and ammonia free, it is completely safe to use whether your screen has a glass or a plastic coating. TVclean is also ideal for lifting dust from any glass surface and can be used for keeping your plastic television frame clean too!

4. Is TVclean safe to use on the screen of my iphone/pda?

5. Can TVclean be used if I already have a screen protector on my iphone or pda?

Yes, TVclean will clean any clear vinyl protectors without damaging their surface.

6. Is there any damage done to the screen?

   Is there any residue left on the screen after I use TVclean?

There is no damage made to screen. Because TVclean uses a rolling action as opposed to a wiping one, it cleans without scratching even delicate surfaces. (incl. polycarbonate, plastics, glass, polyester, etc). The product is alcohol free so will not degrade your screen over time.

7. How often do I have to clean my screen?

Your screen acts a static generator which is like a magnet for airborne dust, so this really depends on how dusty the environment is that your screen resides. On average, for a household environment cleaning your computer or TV screen 2 to 3 times a week should suffice. On handheld devices and laptops, the more often you clean your screen the less chance of scratches occurring.

8. How long TVclean last?

The rubber cleaning roller in a TVclean will never require replacement unless the surface is damaged. Refill adhesive rolls are available which are easily fitted to the TVclean roller unit, enabling you to continue using the device.

9. How often do I need to buy adhesive roll refills?

Each refill is supplied with 24 easily peel-able sheets. Once a sheet becomes saturated in with dust, simply peel off a layer and continue to use. A sheet will generally become saturated after cleaning your screen 2/3 times.
